Some of the 'how to' directions are good, but I agree with the other ladies. This is a simple, every day apron, and yes, we had pretty, delicate ones for hostessing. There are many easy patterns that can be purchased, especially Simplicity, but why bother? Aprons are so simple to make...and you can be as elaborate or simple as you like...whatever suits you best. Good luck and enjoy your sewing!

Not even close to a hostess apron in the 60s! This would be a luncheon apron or an every day apron, but hostess aprons were usually organdy and fancy!

Where is the pattern, I think it's just another form of advertising. A total waste of time.

I think they made a mistake, it was more of a tutorial. They did give a pattern number. Im not sure but even if they did put a pattern on here, would'nt it be hard to print. I just like the idea that they showed the tutorial on how to put it together. Very nice! It will also be nice to go find this pattern or another, while purchasing my material for project :)

This is NOT a free pattern! It only shows photos & gives a bare rundown of what's being done. Kind of like a short slide show! What a waste of time!

this is not a free pattern - disappointing

I'm finding more and more patterns that the links dont work or they send you to no directions at all. Really not what I expect.

What a waste of my time! NO pattern, I can go to JoAnn's on my own and pick out a pattern. I hope it wasn't a big waste of time signing up, but if this is what you get, totally not worth your time.

Where is the free pattern??? I see only a suggested pattern to purchase from MaCalls! Not happy to have wasted my time signing up...........

such a cute project! i love it. i'll be making a whole bunch of these for the camp i'm running
