What a great idea for Christmas gifts for children and grandchildren. The comment about having the back material face up is fantastic. I was thinking about lining the book holder but this idea is easier.

Just made these for my Grandkids birthday....My grandson's was spiderman and my Granddaughter's was Dora the cute...I did however modify your pattern....just above the outside pocket, I bought some netting with color to match the material and made another pocket just above.....this could hold garbage, beverage, kleexix or napkins, stuffed animals, turned out well..thanks for sharing your pattern with us.....Vicky Moore

Just made this and my kids love it. The one thing I did is to turn the back piece so the wrong side of the fabric is against the cars seat is way you don't have to see wrong side of fabric.
