Faux Suede and Snakeskin Purse

By:

This Faux Suede and Snakeskin Purse has a style that ranges from country to rock-n-roll, depending on which pattern you choose to use. Trace this pattern onto tissue paper, use the sketches to cut the fabric, and iron the interfacing onto the pattern pieces. Cheap purses do not have to look cheap. Take a weekend to make a bag others will envy and you will wear with pride.

Beautiful done. Nicely details. Possibilities endless!! Pattern states intermediate if you are an intermediate sewer you can adapt and figure it out. Take measurements from a purse you already have and go from there!!!

Watch for a sale at Joann's or use a coupon. This is a fabulous purse and worth buying a pattern.

I felt this is not a free pattern, this site is all free patterns, this purse is not a free pattern. No fair! This is misleading to the people who love this site. Only patterns that are free should appear on this site. It's not worth showing. Very disappointed.

Hi Velmalewis, it looks to us like the pattern is still free. All you have to do to access it is click the link above that says "Click Here for Sewing Pattern" and it takes you right to the pattern. I hope that helps! -Editors of AllFreeSewing

This pattern is downloadable I just did it. There are multiple messages on the site telling you how to do it. The last one has you click on the thumbnail photograph which I did and it works fine.

It is misleading to call this a free pattern. When I 'click here for sewing pattern' it takes me to instructions for making a bag based on a Simplicity pattern that would have to be purchased. Disappointing because I thought the bag was fabulous.

I was able to download the pattern in PDF. I just don't know how to go about enlarging the pattern. I know some of the pieces tell the measurements but others don't. I wish I was like my Grandma use to be. She could window shop and go home and cut out a pattern of the dress or what ever she seen in the window. I think this would be nice to do in spring colors too or blue jean fabric. Thanks, Betty

I want to know how to print the pattern as it states in the article?

Just follow the two directions that tell you where to go you will end up at a thumbnail (small pic of purse)with the words below it "download pattern". All you have to do is click on the thumbnail as you were instructed earlier. It works fine.
