Gifting gifts in fabric gift pouches is like getting two gifts in one. Once the recipient has opened the gift, the pouch can be used for something else. What a way to say I love you. I know I am always in need of ziplock bags to store items. I could use a few of these myself.

I enjoy using fabric gift pouches. Once the gift has been unwrapped, the wrapping can be reused/recycled. It is a way to remember getting that special gift which in my case if usually some homemade goodies.

I attempted this project. Easily cut and sewed, however there was no way I could get it to look like the picture - just would not come together like the picture. I did it a while ago so can't remember what was wrong just that it did not look nice and no way could I give it away (wasted fabric). Also it was smaller sized then expected. If there is a trick in getting the folds to lay like petals, please let me know.

Thanks for the reply to my search for a sewn leprechaun doll pattern. There lots if you want to buy. I tend to be a little on the thirfty side and free is better. One more comment about purchased patterns for anything, I bought two purse patterns and was sorely disappointed with the directions, be careful what a nd who you purchase from. Not all people are good at writing instructions. Rejanne
