I agree that plain towels are the best for doing the actual drying. But, I like to hang decorative towels on my oven door handle and on a hook away from the sink. I also look for new gift ideas for relatives that appreciate retro style.

Cute. I'd make them for display and/or gift giving, but when it comes to using a dishtowel, I am under the old school, nothign works better than a plain towel without the cute stuff. I most likely will make some for gifts this year, though! Very cute!
