Great idea. Thanks for sharing.

Sometimes a simple idea can turn out to be so very useful. Hanging a kitchen towel on the oven towel bar seems automatic in most all kitchens. Having a way to tie the towel on with a fabric added casing and ribbon ties so it stays put is just perfect.

Does your kitchen towel fall on the floor evertime you wipe your hands? Do you want a way to stop it from falling but not to keen with the button closure top because it is not your style then take a look at this tutorial to use ribbon to tie it on. This is so easy and very fast to do and the best part is you can use scraps of fabric and ribbon to make these. What great ideas these will make for any occassions.

Thank you for the great pattern. It looks so simple yet I did not think of it. This will keep the towel from landing on the floor in front of the stove again. Also if you just need a quick dry of your hands, you just have to reach and there is a towel for you. This idea also makes it unique and a great gift idea. I always have scraps and lots of ribbon. I can make this in no time at all!

I love love this 'Stay Put' kitchen towel idea. I thought it is a stunning idea for the kitchen tea gift idea I was looking for, my friend Melinda's daughter was getting married and I needed to a gift that was different yet original and personal. Thanks to this great site I found what I was looking for. I used the basic pattern design and on the towel section I embroidered different slogans, for example 'Kiss the cook' and 'This kitchen is the heart of my home' in beautiful scroll letters. I was so impressed with my handy work I decided that I was going to make a set for myself. What a great idea for personalized gifts. It is so quick and simple to make. It is a must try.
