Well it would have been helpful if it had said that in the first place! Thanks for letting us know.

Hi everyone! A lot of people seem to be confused about this project. This is a tutorial from the blogger on how to create the Day Date Dress. There is no printable pattern; instead the blogger lists the instructions on how she created and drafted the dress using clothing she already owned. Hope this clears up any confusion! - Editor, AllFreeSewing.com

See a lot of questions asking how to download the pattern for the day date dress but I don't see the answers. How do we download the pattern.

When I click on "Click Here for the Sewing Project" - I get a blank page...no tutorial. ( This happens even after I've logged in and saved the pattern. Can anyone please help. Thank you.

This dress is adorable! I really like the look of peter pan collars and the length of this dress is just perfect.

hi my first time i do not seem to to able to download this lovely dress pattern help the day date dress

Oh my goodness! This dress is retro chic at its finest. I have always had a fondness for this style, as I think it is flattering on most body types. This very much puts me in mind of something that Princess Kate would wear to an event. I think that I will be bribing my sewing-talented Aunt in the very near future to sew me this gorgeous dress!

I wil download the pattern the day date dress.

How do we download pattern?

Hi sarahfurlin, this is a tutorial for how to make the dress, not a sewing pattern. Thanks!

This dress is so classy! I love the peter pan collar and the fact that it gives off a retro/vintage vibe without looking too much like a costume.

Help! i'm new to this website, would anyone be able to advise how to download the pattern? Thanks heaps!

Got it!

Hi Anita, just wondering if you could share how you were able to download the pattern. thanks

This dress is such a chic vintage style! It reminds me of an Audrey Hepburn movie.

I love how this dress would be flattering on a lot of different body shapes. It's such an effortless and stylish look.

This is a very lovely dress to use for dress or casual. Simply elegant. I love you used an old shirt for the pattern. I always say I am going to use something for a pattern and forget too and give it away. And this looks so super easy. Thanks. Have you tried it in anything other than knit?

This is such a classic, gorgeous dress! I love the length of the sleeves and the dress itself. I can't wait to try this out!

Are knits an absolute requirement when using this pattern?

What an inspiring way to create dresses out of our existing shirts that flatter us. You can follow the pattern to a t, or let it inspire you to create something completely different. Thank you!!!! I love it!!!!
