Are you having a big Easter dinner at your house and want a way to decorate the setting then why not make these bunnies and put names on the ribbon for where they will sit. They look like real candy and are so easy to make. You can even use felt instead of wool sweater. You can even make some for a classroom too. You can even make them if you do not sew by using hot glue. Very cute.

Love the idea for a felted sweater bunny that looks like chocolate. The bunny is especially charming as a table decoration. Just trace two bunnies onto the felted sweater, cut out, stitch, stuff, and add a ribbon. Super easy to do and it really does take just 5 minutes to make. Great idea.

I have some brown felt squares that would work perfectly for this project. The design is simple enough to free-hand the silhouette of the bunny shape on two pieces of felt or other fabric and sew and stuff and you are done. The brown does really look like a chocolate bunny! Matching the color of the neck ribbon to the napkin for a place setting looks sharp, especially pink with brown! Add a tiny black button for an eye for an added touch!

Not really a tutorial and there is no printable template so you have to locate one elsewhere but it was easy to find something on the internet. The instructions tell you to use an old wool jumper and felt it by washing in hot water and drying on hot setting but I just used some felt sheets from the craft store instead. Because of the simple design it was a great craft for the youngsters as they were able to hand sew by using blanket stitch around the edge. They also used pastel pinks, blues, greens and yellows to make a variety of them and you could also make some Easter bunting by sewing different coloured bunnies to string or a crocheted chain.
