I'm so sick of stretch cotton cheap panties,made-in-china horrible ppanties.you can 't decorate them,or use fabric paint,or use "sharpie extreme"on, or even keep em from falling apart finally--there ARE NO OTHER KINDS-I SEARCHED.Only a long very expensive type, for olders-i'm older, but I can't afford them. Its dissgustinng,i have no choice but to make these-struggle thru the sewing of elastic(I never took lessons, our mom sewed)I have sewed dresses, flannel nightgowns, blouses, wrap-skirts.Guess I will manage these ,at 76 yrs old,why not?Any seniors here?THANK YOU for patterns!)

I have gotten tired of panties that don't fit right. I was sleeping in a pair of boxers and discovered how comfortable they were. SO, I'm using these for my own underwear without the gathering on the thighs. A little longer in the leg and they are perfect to skip a slip with a skirt.

i think that these are wonderful!!! i love the look of leaving something to the imagination while still managing to look sexy-which can be done very easily in these! there are a million different ways to sex these bloomers up if folks are really wanting to do so! thanks a bunch for the awesome idea!!!!

WHAT next? Are you kidding. Who would waste time on these??

A mature woman who belongs to a dance club (like square dancing or just ballroom dancing) I belonged to a ballroom dance club and some of the women had snugger fitting versions of this with all ruffles. Pretty cute when her partner twirled her. I don't like these either; but I just think it's the baggy fit and the bows I don't like.

Pleeeaaaaase! These are so ugly. I would not be caught dead in those. I can just imagine myself going to the ER and wearing these! Yuck!

If you like these you also may want to try this idea Years ago when my daughter was just finished potty training I drew up a basic undies pattern you can do a basic tracing of a current pair that you have then go to a thrift store and find some nice nightgowns women's lingere that has fancy lace or inset panels of fancy stitches or just beautiful prints Also feel for the nicer quality of the fabrics The nicer quality usually feel thicker and silkier also get some cotton tee shirts for the inside crotch section use the thicker nicer tee shirt material here also I used the lingere material for the pieces and layers of the basic tee shirt knit for the inside crotch pieces front back and layers for the crotch I used the fancy lace pieces and appliques going down some on the side some at anRead More angle across the front some down the center front It is totally up to your imagination and it is amazing how many undies for an adult you can make out of one outdated long gown and twice that number for little girls undies and she loved them It would be hard to find such high quality undies anywhere like what you can make for just a couple dollars in thrift store finds Have fun
