I have no doubt that this would be a fine addition for a dedicated crafter in his her own vehicle in the BACK seat of course but I doubt that any of the airlines would permit such a thing on board It is still very difficult to carry any sort of sharp object on to an aircraft which would eliminate most scissors and craft knives-none of which should be used in a moving vehicle of any kind anyway Also it must be noted that anything which is not securely strapped down will become a mph MISSILE in the event of a sudden swerve or stop This can cause unforeseen injury to any occupant within the vehicle For as much as we all enjoy our crafts and hobbies perhaps it is better to READ about them for inspiration and wait until we arrive at our destination to work with the 'tools of…Read More the trade'

Great idea the way you attached the caddy to the window. I'm making one now smaller in size for fingernail file, sissors, lipice,dental floss, lotion etc. and will use your idea for window attachment Thanks, Mary

Keep in mind that most modern cars use a 'safety curtain' side airbag system which deploys in an accident from the overhead part of the doors. Placing this organizer or anything else in the way of the intended function of such a side airbag system could render it ineffective in the event of a crash.

I really like this Caddy pattern , would it be possible for our ASG (American Sewing Guild) group to use it as a "program" Each month a member presents a program for our Group, I think this would be a great project for our group.
