Perfect packaging for gift cards this Christmas, these DIY fabric envelopes are made using sweet fabric and customized with fabric stamps, address labels, embroidered details, and more. Sometimes giving a gift card is the best bet when it comes to gifts (especially when it comes to surly teenagers), but that does not mean you cannot personalize the process! Use up scraps or pick out some decorative prints just for this project. Either way, they are sure to be used again and again.

These make a lovely presentation. If you want to send them in the mail, you have to "modge podge" them and use a real label so they can go through the mail scanners...mine arrived at its destination a little worn, maybe next time I'll send it inside a small box...

I am in love with these "Pretty Fabric Envelopes"! However, I would not want to send these in the mail as is, as they are way too nice. I agree these make for very nice gift card holders or special handmade cards too. With these kinds of envelope I am sure the recipient would want to keep this and reuse for some special personal items.
