Just recently I have been thinking more and more about trying my hand at quilting and this seems like a perfect way to start. Simple design with good, easy to follow instructions and I really love the prints that have been used. I have already started looking through the mountains of fabrics in my studio and have started selecting some with a view to making it for the baby boy a special friend will be bringing into the world next month. A perfect gift.

I am real new to quilting and tried one that had half triangles and it did not work out so I stopped. Have you tried this one yet? I have a niece expecting in a few months and if this is easy as it looks I may start here. You are right this quilt is a great gift for either a boy or girl just by changing the fabrics and looks so pretty.
