Love this pattern. I am fairly new to sewing and everyone thought this was a little ambitious for me. The directions were so easy I have actually made two and already bought the material for bag three. ( keeping that one as a beach bag for me!) Thank you for the help.

I did make this bag. I love it. The instructions are very well done. What I want to know is why it keeps getting put into the "quick to make" category? It's named "Quick" because it's supposed to be smaller than a regular diaper bag for quick trips out and about. It is VERY involved to piece together. It took me hours to complete.

I just gave this bag to my daughter in law who loved it!! I used the most beautiful teal and white Indian elephant pattern on the outside. My only problem was the very stiff (Timtex?) interfacing. It was like cardboard and I'll never use it again to sew. It shredded the thread and gummed up my needle. Since no one else mentioned it, I think I may have used the wrong thing. Otherwise, it was gorgeous and she loved it! I will make others for shower/baby gifts. Thank you, thank you.

I made this bag. It is really great. It looks very elegant and will hold lots! I had several people tell me they'd like it just for a purse. It was a little tricky trying to follow the pattern since the fabric was the same pattern for all outside parts, but I figured it out. And I'm little more than a beginner. I used home decor fabric as I had it and it worked quite well. Thanks for a great pattern.
