These hats would certainly make quirky gifts. But it occurred to me that they would make really fantastic accessories for home made stuffed toys. Cant you just imagine a cute crochet/knitted teddy bear wearing one of these delightful fruity hats? Or an angelic little doll wearing a strawberry hat and matching skirt or dress? I was wondering too if there is some way to preserve them after baby has grown out of them? Like some kind of lacquer that would protect them to be made into a little shelf ornament?
