I made a pillow similar to this one and it was not that hard just had to hold the fabric straight on line while sewing it down but it turned out good. I used the whole circle not folded but it still had that 3D effect. I also sewed a whole pillow not a cover but this is a good idea so you can change it out when you want something new. You can even use some stash pieces and save on fabric. I love when you can make your own decor to save on the high prices that they would cost.

This little pillow is quite unique as an Anthropologie inspired design. The many little folded tassels are perfect for a scrap fabric project. This is very easy sewing with a charming end result. The 3D effect is just what I was searching for my next pillow project. Very helpful tutorial

Wowie. Such a lovely cushion. I have to say that I would not want to pay 88$ for a couch cushion either! That is crazy. And being a cat mom I know about dealing with claws and fur, lots of fur. When I read that this was inspired by Anthropologie I was hooked. I do like their style, but not their prices. I can see that cutting out all those circles may seem tediouss to some, but I think it can also be relaxing, or zen like. Ok so now how to make couch cushions that repel cat fur??? Hmmmm Any ideas?
