I love flip flops but the cheap ones are not very comfortable and lets fact it, I am not going to spend a whole lot of money for flip flops. The reason they are so uncomfortable is because of the straps. Now I have to run out and purchase a little fabric to make these before the summer is all gone - oh and some dollar store flip flops too.

OMG. I am a flip flop kind of girl. I love this idea. I dont even really have to get out the sewing machine to make these. How study is the glue to hold the toe piece in place.

These really look stellar! You could possibly add a small strip of interfacing in areas where you don't want the fabric to stretch or slip but talking care not to cause abrasion or blisters! These should be more for looks than for long walks, but you are sure to be lookin' good with these - they look designer!

These soft flip flop straps are really unique and dress up the plain summer footwear. I imagine the knit material may tend to stretch a bit after repeated wearing however the addition of the instep strap seems like it would help to keep the refashioned rubber flip flops in place on the foot. Cute idea for childrens sandals as well.
