I love the look of the classic Japanese scene on this colorful very easy to sew bag. After watching the accompanying video, it would seem even a sewing beginner would be able to make this elegant bag. The large oval grommets really do add to its charm. A quick and easy sewing project.

With all the wonderful fabric choices out there, this one provides some inspiration to find similar patterns and colors. This would look smashing in a metallic print brocade with some jewel embellishments! Between the fabric stores and craft stores, as well as online, the handle and fabrics could be easily found. Such a nice inspiration for a cute bag!

Could you tell me were the fabric came from for the Japanesse bag please

Hi christinebanks1 19 32024! Since we did not create this project here in our office, we did not purchase the fabric. Please follow the link to the tutorial and leave a comment for the designer. She might be able to point you in the right direction. Kaylee, Editor of

Hi! You should be able to purchase them at any big craft store in your area. If you do not locate them there, trying searching online or asking our active Facebook group if they know a retailer. Hope that helps! Kaylee, Editor of

Where do you get the handles for this bag?
