What a nice switch then just placing the silverware on the table it dresses the table up and they are so easy to make. You can really use some pretty fabric and trim or embellishment to use on any occasion even a wedding reception or formal dinner to just use everyday. Nice tutorial with pictures.

THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR THIS PROJECT PATTERN I JUST LOVE IT

Cutlery pockets are perfect for casual parties. These are easy to sew and a great fabric scrappy project. Make several and stack in a basket to double as a pretty center piece. The tutorial shows the pockets sewn with festive Christmas fabrics however I can envision the pretty pockets in any number of seasonal fabric themes.

What a great idea for a family get together over the holidays? Just imagine how these smart little cutlery pockets would add a certain something to the table setting? The pockets pictured are in a Christmas theme, but really your imagination would be the only limit. Why not make some for yourself and some to give as gifts?
