I always appreciate learning how someone else makes a project. I will adjust my own method to this easier one. I buy Wrap N Zap online from Walmart. It's very reasonable and guaranteed to use in microwave. I make these bags to sell in my booth at the farmers market. One hint if I may, I always 'quilt' the Wrap N Zap batting to the lining in 3" squares so it won't shift during laundering. I've never had one catch fire in the microwave oven, my husb. uses the bag very often, nor have I had a customer complain their bag has caught fire. I buy a black fabric with stuffed baked potatoes print from fabric.com in bulk so I get the best price.

Someone purchased one of these for me a few years back, and I thought to myself, I could have made this! Now that I see this project, I am encouraged to give it a try because as Cheryl below mentions, they do indeed work... Potatoes come out great and fast! Thanks for sharing!

I love these microwave potato bags. So easy to sew. Just be sure to use heat-resistant cotton batting. It is hard to believe but you can cook a baked potato in less than 10 minutes in these bags, and no thick skinned wrinkly potato at the end of the cooking time!
