From the Blogger: "There is nothing wrong with my cafetiere. I bought it in the winter time and its very modern look impressed me at the time. But now it is springtime and I want flowers. I don't want clean and uncluttered lines. The answer? Get sewing! This very quick project uses scraps and can be made up in an afternoon by a confident sewist. Even the batting is a scrap! I have used essentially English Liberty fabrics but it would look amazing in any pretty floral. It will change the mood of your morning."

Can you say CUTE. I do not use a cafetiere but I may have to find one just so I can make this cosy. This is a great way to use up a lot of scraps including the batting and I love tea and I agree this is a good way to keep it warm. I think these liberty fabric are so adorable. I like that there is a button but no button hole just a elastic closure which helps it fit right. A great beginner project and looks like fun to make. Super easy tutorial.

Cool, this so reminds me of a tea cozy, of course, and in addition to this, looking great, it keeps the contents warm! And so easy to care for just throw,in the wash! How about making several from you scrap stash of fabric? You could even piece fabric together for a crazy quilt look and make this! So,unique, handmade is best and you would easily see this in a stores, great shower gift idea!
