I am so glad that you featured this dress. Several years ago I had stumbled across this designer and I really loved her sewing patterns. I had bookmarked her site, but I couldn't find it again and I couldn't remember her name. She has several patterns like this, that can be made in a short amount of time and they are so pretty. I love how quick this can be made and it has a convertible style so you can change the look.

This is a great dress that you can wear many different ways which would be really great for a teen that likes to change her style. Take it to the beach and wear it one way during the day and change the style for night. Make it in a soft pastel for spring or black for that basic black dress. Nice tutorial and done well.

I like to make this kind of dress for a nightgown. I just make it with light material and a little larger so it is comfy while I sleep. And if you have to you can step outside and no one knows it is a nightie.

this 15-min convertible dress looks like the best thing since toilet paper. i can't wait to try it

At this time not really sure. I am a beginner not really sure what my style will be.
