These fun Bunny Silhouette Homemade Hot Pad patterns are made specifically for Easter, but theyd be cute year-round in all sorts of color combinations. The bunnies and grass can be cut from some of those larger scraps we all seem to have sitting around. Learn how to make hot pads with this simple tutorial, which includes printable templates for the grass and bunnies. Although this pattern is Easter-themed, it's also subtle and sophisticated. Make these hot pads to celebrate the arrival of spring and keep using them all summer long.

These hot pads are adorable. I can imagine these being cute wall pictures, too. One could adhere the fabric onto square stretched canvases or even on square wood boards.

I love the silhouette idea for this bunny kitchen hot pad. Almost too cute to use! The tutorial calls for a great product, Insul-Bright, for insulating the hot pad however 100% cotton batting would work if none are available. The two silhouette bunny patterns really stand out against the bright spring fabric and the fabric grass is a great idea too.

The silhouette pattern of the two bunny designs is very well done and looks super professional! I love the color combination shown in the project photo, although it would lend itself to whatever fabrics and colors you might desire or have on hand. Since this is a potholder, it could also be used as a trivet or coaster! For a little extra, sew a loop of half-inch fabric on a corner or the middle of the top so you can hang it up and admire it as wall or fridge decor! Love it! Thanks for sharing!
