A great tutorial, I am looking for world book day costumes for my daughter and thought this would be perfect, it was under adult costumes and I thought I would have to make my own alterations but the pattern has both adult and child sizes which was good. The tutorial has a detailed video guide as well as written instructions and the pattern is in PDF format so is easy to print out and use. I can't wait to get started on this as soon as my red fabric arrives.

not my style

This is a very cool pattern.

I like this a lot. It's really cute.

That is so cute - I would love to make it in royal blue velvet for my daughter!

This would be great for a child or an adult!

What a great project - I could see this used for so many other costumes; not just Red

So sweet

Cute for Hallowe'en.

I made this last year, but didn't use the hood. I just used the cape to sew "feathers" on for an owl costume. Really easy and really quick sew. I would recommend it to anyone.
