I love that these use lentils for the weight! I have seen them done with rice or sand, these look like they would work great! The tip on using a pin to hold back the lentils while sewing up the opening is a good one! And the use of a funnel helps too. Thanks for a great tutorial and super practical, idea!

Pinning and cutting patterns is my least favorite part of sewing, so I definitely need to make these pattern weights ASAP!

These fabric weights are so cute...I have some velvet and I have been looking for a project. I am going to make paper weights for one of my friend who is still working. I have another friend who uses with plain lead weights when she cuts fabric' hopefully, these will brighten up her space.

Another great little project to use scraps to make some very useful sewing tools. I often find myself struggling to get a nice, flat profile when pinning pattern pieces onto my fabric. Pattern weights is obviously the way to go and I was going to try using various sized washers as suggested by someone else. However this sounds like a much nicer option.
