Kaffe Classics Fabric Collection

Kaffe Classics Fabric Collection

Reviewed by Christine Weiher, Editor,

FreeSpirit has amazing fabrics that any sewer or quilter should have in their stash. The latest obsession I have is the Kaffe Fassett collection in citrus. Kaffe started working with FreeSpirit in the yarn industry and is now expanding into the fabric world with amazing prints for the patchwork market. The amazing citrus fat quarter bundle is one that has truly caught my eye.

When you come across a piece of fabric that makes you take a deep breath you know it's going to turn into something beautiful. The citrus collection has the warmest colors that remind me of a blazing fire or fantastic sunset. With stunning florals, dots and spots in yellow, orange and pink, it is clear that Kaffee has an amazing eye for color schemes.

The abstract shapes look amazing lying flat in a bundle or rolled up in a jelly roll, but would look breathtaking as a quilt. Each design is more beautiful than the next and you will be filled with joy as you work up your next project. The fat quarter bundle contains 20 pieces of fabric measuring 18 inches by 21 inches. If you don't make a quilt with this fabric then it would also look great as a wall hanging or even a decorative pillow to add a pop of color to the room. If you want to swoon over your own masterpiece or be the envy of all your friends, I suggest you quickly get your hands on this collection.
