Using bias tape and some fancy fabric, this free table runner pattern shows you how to create a DIY table topper that is truly elegant. These lovely leaves add a light touch to your table and easily make any table a thousand times fancier. The Leafy Table Runner was originally created in some summer hues, but you could easily transform it into a harvest Autumn idea by sewing together orange, red, and yellow leaves instead. In fact, you could make flora-inspired table runner patterns for every season with the right set of prints.

where is the leaf template?????

Hello! Here is the PDF link to Martha Stewart's leaf template: http://images.marthastewart.com/images/content/web/pdfs/pdf3/prettybias_leaf.pdf. Hope that helps!

I would love to make this beautiful leaf table runner but there is no template anywhere I looked all over and the tutorial is a little bit confusing. Is there a video somewhere. I love the colors that was used but I can also see it done out of bright colors too.

Hello! We found a PDF for Martha Stewart's leaf template here: http://images.marthastewart.com/images/content/web/pdfs/pdf3/prettybias_leaf.pdf. Hope that helps!

I AM NOT ABLE TO GET THE LEAF TEMPLATE FOR THELEAFY TABLE RUNNER

Hello! Here is the PDF link to Martha Stewart's leaf template: http://images.marthastewart.com/images/content/web/pdfs/pdf3/prettybias_leaf.pdf. Hope that helps!

Wow! My friend has actually been looking for a new table runner to make, and this might be just the thing! It's even in her kitchen's color scheme.

I have drawn leaf patterns free hand, and another method would be to go outside and gather some leaves, or pluck one from your indoor plants, and trace them, or enlarge or diminish as needed. This idea is beautiful and it would be pretty using different leaf oattern shapes as well, and even to Cary the colors or fabric patterns too! So creative and lovely!

I'm going to add a few more rows and make one for my front door as a spring banner...very pretty.

It would have been nice to say no template is included instead of saying that there is one.

where is the leaf template??? If you meant, make your own, then don't say there is a leaf template in the pattern!

It would have been nice to say, make your own template instead of saying that one is provided.

The leaf pattern template is not included.

Hi! I am sorry you are having trouble with this pattern. While the leaf is not included on the page, you can easily make your own by drawing the oval shape onto a piece of paper and cutting your fabric from there. If you are uncomfortable drawing your own, trying using the image search tool on Google.com to locate a leaf that you could print out and then trace. Hope that helps!
