  • Ribbon or other material for the tie

How to Sew a Faux Corset

Instructions:

  1. Cut out your fabric: Main + Lining.

  2. Cut back bodice piece down the middle. Repeat for lining.

  3. Iron on interfacing.

  4. Sew together at shoulders, press open the seams. Repeat for lining.

  5. Right-sides-together, pin the lining to the bodice. Sew around the neckline and down both side of the center back. Clip seam allowance.

  6. Understitch the lining to the seam allowance.
