DIY Repurposed Denim Tassels

From the Blogger: "I love to upcycle and repurpose my old jeans. I even keep the scraps of leftover denim from some of my bigger upcycles. With some of these scraps, I make lovely denim tassels. These tassels look gorgeous as they are made from the indigo threads of the old jeans. They are also much more robust than other tassels as they are made by fraying denim and not loose threads like other tassels. You can make them whatever size you want to decorate your home, accessorize your bags or even wear as jewelry."

WOW, stunning earrings! I want a pair right NOW and so does my sister but I have pulled rank and as the maker I will get the first pair, haha! I pacified her by telling her I'll iron out any problems I might have with the first pair so hers will be perfect (wicked grin!)

These tassels are just gorgeous and it's one of the nicest ways I have seen for upcycling denim jeans! I love it! Our teenage daughter and I are going to spend Saturday afternoon making some pairs of earrings like this for her to sell at a school craft market. I am sure the girls will snap them up!

Two of my favourite stash buster upcycled items together in one piece tassels and pompoms. I love both of them, they have this chic boho vibe that I enjoy from time to time and it's amazing how unique this denim tassels are made. This will make such a cute keychain or a makeup bag zipper accessory.
