Clutch It! Instead of letting a heavy bag weigh you down, use this clutch bag. If you're looking to learn how to make clutch purses, check out this project. In spring and summer especially this cute clutch will really come in handy.

I carry an awful lot of 'stuff' around in my bag so usually am using a large bag which will accommodate it all. Sometimes, though, I want to be less casual, a bit more elegant, which is when I reach for a small bag. And I do like this Clutch It bag - very much! It's going to suit my needs really well AND the pattern is rated "easy" - YAY!

Very frustrating. Some other site opens up showing someones kids.

Hi aliasb, We just opened this link and it went to the correct photo. If you continue to scroll, there is a full tutorial on how to make this clutch. Hope that helps! Kaylee, Editor

but too bad I can't seem to get the pattern. every time I try, I get something other than that. oh well!!!!

Bonito Cluch, har uno para m, me gusta.

http://mycakies.com/2008/04/clutch-it/ Here is the link!!!

What a shame...I really wanted to make this but can't access the pattern. Will it ever be fixed???

The link isn't working. Takes you to something else.

link does not work

I'd love to make this project, but the link doesn't work. Can you help me? Thanks

This should do it...the link to the pattern. It looks easy and very doable. http://mycakies.com/2008/04/clutch-it/

cannot get pattern goes onto something else, not impressed :(

The link doesn't take you to the project. From the sound of the comments below it is just as well.

When I try to read or print the pattern for the clutch, the page begins to load something else--how can this be solved

I think that someone should be checking these blogs tutorials to make sure that they are clear. Especially when you list them as an "easy" project. I consider myself pretty versed in sewing & being able to follow directions usually makes sewing projects easy even if I am un-sure about something. But this blog post is poorly written & steps are missing & the photos are not helpful in showing the steps. I have wasted an entire evening on this project attempting to finish it... It is very FRUSTRATING & definitely NOT an EASY project

No tutorial! as promised
