From the Blogger: "This pillow case features a fun detail of having ties on the sides. The full tutorial walks you through each step of how to make it along with pictures.

I made my pillows using a cozy red buffalo check flannel fabric to provide some warmth to our bedroom for the fall and winter. Each pillow requires about a yard of fabric depending on the size of the pillow that you are making the case for (standard, queen, down filled, etc)."

This easy to sew pillow cover is just lovely. I have made envelope style pillow covers in the past but I really like the fact that this tutorial shows a cover with a tie closure. It seems to make for a much neater look. A few new pillow covers can change the look of a bedroom quickly.

Another fantastic tutorial for my collection of to do projects. These pillowcases are perfect for adding decor to your bedroom, they're very fashionable and to my liking. Will make this design to fit throw pillows, too.

these would be great on the sofa or on a large comfy chair - show me the teen-aged girl who does not like to cosy up with a comfy cushion when reading or watching television - adults too... great idea
