I have made flowers like this out of paper before, but the felt would be really fun to try. I don't think I would make the flowers as large as the one she made for the pillow, but would make a few smaller ones to add to other projects. Super cute idea, though and I do love working with felt!

This is one big rose. I like it and I can not believe it is this easy to make and fast too. This felt rose will look nice in a flower vase on the table or in an entry way on a table, on a window treatment or cut it smaller to use on a hat. If you have ever wanted to learn how to make a rose than this is the tutorial for you.

I would never make the pillow shown in the tutorial... but the same flower in a smaller size looks great on the wreath. I might actually have to make that this year.

@ mommymindy: The wreath picture is not misleading at all. Apparently some people forget to read the whole tutorial. Scroll all the way to the bottom to find the wreath picture on the original site. Just above that photo, the creator describes how she made the wreath. There are not any step-by-step directions there because anyone who can read and THINK should be able to make the wreath from her brief description. The flowers on the wreath are just a smaller version of the flower on the pillow. Simply use your own judgement on the size of the felt square to get the size flowers you want for the wreath. You should not need specific instructions for those flowers, since they are made with the same technique. This is another example of thinking outside the box.

This is for a pillow and although the wrath in the p. Picture is at the bottom it misled

The pattern is for a pillow....not the flowers shown on wreath
