I have several friends that are in the medical profession. This idea is awesome. So many times large clinics or hospitals require you to wear solid color scrubs. Here is a great way to say a little about yourself...your hobbies, vacations, pets etc. I just love the idea and will be making several.

This is a great idea and since they are so easy to make, I could see making several to give to my nurse practitioner friend, and that way she can have some in the wash to address the germ issue. Since she deals with kids, this would help with the scary factor and more comfortable for her as well! Thanks for sharing this great idea!

I know from experience this stethoscope cover will make some health care workers that wear one all day very happy. The cover is reversible too. Any bright cheery cotton broadcloth print, especially a novelty design like an NFL or MLB team or even a popular Disney themed fabric cover would be appreciated by the wearer. Washable too.

I made and used similar covers, and removed and laundered them. They can be germ carriers if you let them touch patients, but so is the head of the stethoscope.

Cute, but a germ carrier between patients.

This would be a great gift for my fellow RN's. Made one, and plan on making 8 more. Great idea!
