Every once in a blue moon I will see a pillow case like this in the thrift stores or flea markets. These prints are just not as prevalent in textiles at this time. Often times there will not be a full set but here is a way to get that pillow case on the low and make something useful with it.

Who would have thought of this? This type of printed pillow case can be found at yard sales or good will markets. Here is a great way to repurpose and have a unique item to use. This would make a cute market bag.

Are you wanting to change your pillowcases but have that one that you do not want to part with. Here is a great way to make something with it. How about a pillowcase tote bag then you can use it everyday. If it is too big then cut to your size and you can even use another pillowcase for the lining. Put your own embellishments on it or add some laces or appliques or anything you want. You can use whatever you want for the handles. This is a great project for anyone and a great starter for a new sewer. Thanks for the idea.

This is definitely a cute spring bag! There are tons of floral patterns and pastel colors that are used for pillowcases, so this is the perfect time of year to make this unique bag!
