As soon as I saw the photo, I had to look at the instructions. I used to make a lot of clothes from pillowcases years ago when I was a college student. It is time to do it again. This dress is adorable and perfect for the summer. I can always get vintage pillowcases at the second hand stores around me and if you have to buy them new, there are plenty of stores with sales on them. I have a dress form which will make fitting that much easier. In the summer it is always nice to have dresses like this. Thank you.

Many folks will associate pillowcase dresses with helping out those little girls in need in other countries... And of course, this is a wonderful way to contribute. This pattern would be great for the philanthropic purpose, as well as a lovely and simple addition for your hot weather wardrobe! Most likely, I less you are a girl, or teeny-tiny, you will need to use fabric or two pillowcases, but the dress is so lovely, why not give it a try? Fun and fabulous!
