usually you sew it on like you would a flat ribbon... down the edges. The little channels are exposed so you can put the hooks into them. The tape can be seen from the back of the drape, but not on the front.

I'm looking for simple instructions on sewing pleating tape for drapes. Not sure how to fold the material. Is the tape covered or will it be seen on the inside of the drape? Can you help me?
