Right, so once I have bought the serger (my first one!) and learnt how to use it properly my next craft investment will be a die cut machine. There is just so much that it can be used for that makes it a really worthwhile purchase and the fact that it can save so much time together with the design aspects have got me really excited!

There was a time when I was making some rag quilts and rag quilt totes and I had a steel rule scallop die that I used to cut out all of the squares I needed for my projects. It saved me tons of time and each of the squares were of course perfectly cut, too. Also I have used dies with large motifs to create appliques.

T-shirts and quilts

I have a hard time saying a favorite project I like to make, I guess most is some sort of quilting. I am trying to do yard flags now and am getting excited with them.
