It is so nice when you can pick up things at the dollar store for some fun projects or gather things you have around the house and if you have some tote bags that need that extra touch to make it new then transform it into this snowy scene using some felt, doilly and some lace even and have fun creating your bag. This is an easy project to do and you. Hand stitch or machine and maybe even use your cricut to cut out the pieces. Let's see what you come up with.

This plain tote transformation is eye-catching. The snowy scene with tree and two tiny birds seems easy to make by following the clear tutorial. Just a few bits of lacey crocheted snowflakes, some felt and eyelet trim. I suspect though that the eyelet trim on the bottom of the bag may be challenging to maneuver under a sewing machines presser foot. Patient hand sewing may be an alternate way to apply the trim.
