This is a great idea for a table runner and easy to make. I have county style furniture so "fancy" table runners look out of place. This will be perfect and I can make all the flannel all the same design or mix it up as shown in the photo. Also it will wash up nicely and not require ironing. Thank you for the pattern

Great idea and so practical, too! I have seen some really classy plaid flannel or other fabric in deep reds and greens with gold metallics running through it that would lend itself for the winter holidays and beyond! The great thing about this project is it upcycles and is washable. So creative.... Love it!

Wow. What a super idea and this flannel table runner is so unique and so fast and so simple to make. What a great way to use old flannel shirts that you have laying around or pick up from a yard sale or thrift store for cheap. Just use your quilting ruler and rotary cutter and sew together hem and add your lace or even ric rac. This will look great for Autumn table or Thanksgiving table setting. Super easy. Thanks for great idea.

I like the rustic cottage look of the flannels edged with lace and made into a table runner. Neat idea to recycle old or thrifted flannel shirts. Table runners seems so much better at showing off a table than a full sized cloth that covers completely, especially if the table is one of charming distressed or reclaimed wood.

This is my favorite table runner on your site! I love the rustic look of the flannel and the lace. My dad has plenty of old flannel shirts that I plan on "borrowing" to make this pattern!
