Placemats are a fun and easy project and great for gift giving! You could use some thicker batting inside and quilt around the leaf shapes to give these placemats added dimension and also to,protect the table from hot serving dishes to use so,e as trivets at the table. Or link several,together and make a nice table runner for either the dining table or a side buffet table.
