Just as Weberme mentions, I made many scrunchies over the years, but never in this manner putting the sewn ringed elastic in the still open casing and then sewing it in. These little gems are fun to,do,and you can churn out a ,OT of them in no time, and make great little gifts. I once made dozens for my daughter's girl classmates... They were a big hit! A great way to use up nice fabric scraps, as I had used gold and floral embroidered woven fabric pieces too small for any other project but elegant and lovely enough for these cute scrunchies....

I have made plenty of these scrunchies in the past for my grand daughter to go with her outfits. They are so super easy and so fast to make and you can use up scrap material. These are not just for girls either a women can wear them too. I do see this one done a little different and I love it. I usually threaded my elastic through opening in bottom and then sewed it but this one the elastic is done different. I am going to try it this way. Make some extra for gifts too.Why not give it a try.

The 90s are having a fashion revival, so these are the perfect accessory for the ultimate 90s girl. All you need is some Lip Smackers, platform Mary Janes, and a mini backpack, and you're basically Cher in Clueless. So fun!
