The worst and best thing about little toys is that they do not take up a lot of space. Little knick knacks are great for your child's motor skills and they are extra portable too. These little toys, however, can be hard to know how to organize. It is not like they are stacked easily or have a spot in your house to be tucked into. Never fear! This kid's room idea for how to organize toys will solve these woes. The insanely Smart Toy Bag is part playmat and part DIY organizer.

Great idea and a fun gift project. I have seen similar using a pillowcase, but this is better as it allows for an easier way to corral the toys! You could also use this for storing fabrics, or crafting supplies, or even small toss pillows that you swap, out for seasons. Great idea and thanks for sharing such great creativity!

I have made many bags to put toys in for my grand kids but none with a rounded bottom. I make mine in a size that will allow the legos to be keep in the set and the same with other toys. They make a great gift to wrap with that gift so the child can put them in the bag. I make some for dolls, toy cars and other toys too. These also make it easier when they want to take them somewhere all you have to do is pick up bag and go. This is a good tutorial and you can adjust your size. A beginner can make this too. Happy sewing.

The length of cord on this item concerns me. I'm thinking it could be an accidental strangulation hazard for children.

This looks awesome! I've seen a branded version of this and am so excited to try and make one myself. Thanks so much for such a clever pattern!
