1920s Cloche Hat Pattern

It’s hard not to love all things vintage, which is why this 1920s Cloche Hat Pattern is just so cute! Learn how to sew a hat that fits tight against your head and comes down low towards the eyebrows – just like they wore them in the Roaring Twenties. Making a hat is quite fun, and many women of the day made their own hats (even though back then they were rather cheap by our standards). You can flip your brim up or down depending on what you like. It will delight you to find that learning how to make a hat is just as easy as it is enjoyable.

I think this cloche hat is so gorgeous! I've never experimented with hat making before, but it's definitely on my list of projects to try.

I love the look of this cloche hat. The fold up brim and flower embellishment give the hat great style. Finding the right kind of felt to make this hat might be a challenge. Felting a thrifted wool sweater might be a choice to consider for fabric. Easy pattern instructions and photos included. Great vintage hat to make for fall or winter.

This totally looks like something out of the 1920's and I can see them worn on people back then. I wish they would come back in style again because they are so cute and very vintage looking. I am going to give a try after the Holidays and see what happens. So they were made out of felt in the 1920's I did not know that. I love this grey one it is so cute and I love the flower too. This is a good tutorial and I am hoping I can follow it. Thanks for the idea.
