Whether sew or no-sew this square of an apron is really easy to make. I do prefer the sewn version however if only to keep the fabric edges from fraying and with neat edges. This quick-to-make kitchen apron is great to have on hand and takes only a 23 inch square of fabric, or larger if desired.

Oh I just love easy sewing patterns and this definitely tops the list. I don't think you can ever have enough aprons and the idea of gifting them is fantastic! I enjoy sewing the sew version would be for me. I do wonder though if Fray Check stands up to the multiple washings an apron goes through. Has anyone washed it several times?

Really! That is all there is to it. I am impressed. A square piece of fabric and some trim a few minutes of sewing and you are done. What a great gift for anyone but especially someone who loves to cook. This easy square apron is so unique because it does not look like any of those you see everyday and I like that their is 2 options to sew it or do by hand which makes this a project anyone can do. Why not make one for that little cook for the kitchen too out of one of their favorite character.
