When I was a child it seemed that every mom in my neighborhood wore an apron. They wore cobbler's aprons for every day and pretty little aprons like this one for special occasions. In junior high sewing, one of the first projects we made was a gathered apron for Mother's day. Times change, but a pretty apron hanging in the kitchen hearkens back to simpler times. I think I will make one.
