Wow, this is a really beautiful bag! I just love the way the straps are fitted and the size of the bag is great. My head is buzzing with fabric options and I just know that as soon as my friends see mine they will be ordering for themselves, lol.

Defo my next project..so excited I can't wait to get started.

I Love this bag. Plenty of room for the stuff I always carry. It has a beautiful shape, not all boxy like most sew your own bags. It might be an interesting challenge to sew, but I like making things myself when possible instead of buying them.

it wont show me the pattern.

Hi tralainacockrum 2157376, Please follow the link above and click on the link for the pdf. It should download from there. If you are having trouble downloading it, make sure that your browser is up to date. If that still doesn't help, please consider reaching out to the designer and they may be able to help! Hope that helps! Kaylee, Editor of AllFreeSewing

how can i buy the pattern for the blossom bag uncut

HI! This pattern is free. All you need to do is visit the link above and click on the link that says " free Amy Butler Blossom Bag PDF pattern" on the blog post. That will lead you to a pdf of the pattern that you can download and print. Hope that helps! Kaylee Pope, Editor of AllFreeSewing.com

I downloaded and printed off the pattern, but all the directions are Russian or something, how can I get them in English? Thank you, Patricia Weatherl

If you've made this bag, would you make the straps longer? It looks as though the strap would be too short for a shoulder bag. I agree it is good looking and also that it would look great in Asian prints.

Love this, but I will probably scale it down.

i love it

I made this pattern and I agree the bottom is not as long as is stated. It is a great bag though and well worth the time it takes to sew it. I made it for my Granddaughter who is a senior in high school. She picked out the pattern and she loved the purse.

Has anyone tried this pattern? The instructions say to cut the bottom panel 15" long - this is too long!, or am I missing something? Please advise. Thanks.

Wonderful bag! It's marked advanced but it wasn't particularly difficult. My bad came out amazing done in Japanese prints and I plan on making several more in other print colors.

I love this bag! Made myself one and I am so happy with it. My 14 year old granddaughter has asked me to make her one! Kudos to the designer!
