Christmas is over, but this really caught my eye! Guess I can get started on it now for next year - or perhaps trade out the candle motif with some pink and white hearts for Valentines day! For the candles I can see adding some gold lame fabric for the candle flame! And the holly or greenery is lovely, could add some embroidered ornaments too! Thanks for sharing the great inspiration!

I'm definitely going to make this skirt for Christmas day. I have been trying to think of what to wear on Christmas. It's not too late is it? I have this whole week off from work so I'm sure I can fit it in. Maybe not the applique as well, so I thought, instead of making the skirt from felt, I'm going to go and source some Christmassy cotton or polyester. Watch this space, I'll post a picture!
