This project pattern is great for beginners, I like the lace ruffles at the hem of the skirt. Frilly ruffles are femine and can be made to trim several projects.

as a ggma skirts were much longer and not so frilly, curious what era as this made from we had poodle skirts

it's really just vintage inspired ) the blog the pattern is on mentions that it's a vintage skirt "with a twist".

I love that vintage clothing is back in style, this skirt looks adorable and easy to make, I can't wait to get started!
