What could be better as a beginner project that this gorgeous summer cover up? I am, personally, not going to use the bobbly edging but I love everything else about this design. I am also thinking of making a maxi version for looking elegant and sultry in the late afternoons or evenings. Mysterious even, lol! It is a lovely dress no matter whether a beginner or advanced sewist!

This is an easy pattern to make. Just one piece of fabric is needed. I like the fact that you gather the neck so it lies better. I am not big on pompoms so I will add a different trim, a bit of lace for the edges. It is a great cover up and you would pay a bit of money in the store for this. Thank you for the pattern.
