These soft fabric eggs are great! I imagine that soft cotton fabrics would fill up the best, but they would be pretty in a satin or jacquard fabric too! And of course, grab the basket for a game of toss the eggs into the basket! Make sure your kid knows the difference between fabric and real eggs for this game! ) Adding a small loop of delicate ribbon and a tiny bow at the top would lend these to decorating a little tree or hanging from a chandelier for some fun! Thanks for sharing this great idea!

I have found this with some time to make these darling fabric Easter eggs. I am going to make some for my grand kids teachers to put on their desks for the kids to see. I am going to go to my fabric scraps to see what I can find that is colorful for pretty eggs. I may even glue on some lace to make it fancier. This would be a good project to get the kids involved to help. So simple and fast. I love it. Great tutorial. thanks.

My daughter and I had tons of fun making these! We were glad for the link on clipping/trimming the seam allowances. Still never got them to look as good as yours, but when you have a basket of twenty or so, no one notices. My daughter and her cousins invented all sorts of games with these, including "egg-pillow fight!" Choosing one to keep was a much more serious issue! ;)
