Homemade Halloween costumes are always unique and affordable. This iconic Morton Salt Girl Costume is adorable, easy to make, and a creative idea that everyone will love, but no one else will think to make. This tutorial includes a pattern for a mod 1960s dress modeled on the recognizable logo. Your little girl can accessorize it with an umbrella and a Morton Salt container. This free dress pattern can also be used to make cute mod dresses for everyday use. This DIY Halloween costume is not just for kids, either. You can alter the pattern and make it for yourself too.

This little Morton salt gal is so clever! And chances are you wont be seeing this costume duplicated so your little girl will be unique! This dress outfit could be made into other characters as well! Thank you for a really creative idea and pattern! And adding the salt to carry around makes this even cuter! You could carry an empty one, and take off the top and use it when trick or treating so viewers can see who you are, then transfer to a larger bag as you go along. Fun and creative!

This is brilliant! I love it!
